Worship is central to our life together.
We seek innovation with integrity and encourage active participation in worship. Rooted in the tradition, we seek to provide liturgical experiences that create space for prayerful encounter with God, stimulate deeper theological wrestling, and nurture caring community. We celebrate with a diverse selection of music and liturgies. We encourage artistic expression in worship and have commissioned lectionaries for worship, new paschal candles and environmental banners with the help of our artists. We invite participation in liturgy. Assisting ministers sing the liturgy, read the lessons, serve the eucharist, and offer healing prayer at the font. We are committed to children and their active participation and leadership in our worship life. On the second Sunday of the month, we invite families with young children to be involved helping to lead our worship services. We are committed to inclusive and expansive language and regularly make changes to the texts of hymns and readings which reflect this commitment.
